Roche and Ventana Launch Bold Investment in Pathology’s Future

Thanks to the generous support of Roche and Ventana Medical Systems INC, the CAP Foundation is proud to offer a unique opportunity that brings the future of pathology into focus—by placing residents right at the heart of innovation.

Through the Translational Diagnostics Advanced Training Grant, pathology residents have the opportunity to attend an immersive, four-week experience at Ventana’s Tucson, Arizona campus. Under the guidance of Shalini Singh, MD, FCAP, Ventana’s Senior Director of Pathology, participants explore the cutting edge of diagnostic assay development, from digital pathology to platform innovation.

Watch 2024 awardee Tengfei Wang, MD, reflect on his experience and what the opportunity meant to him in the video below.

But more than a training opportunity, this program reflects something greater: Roche/Ventana’s commitment to education, discovery, and the next generation of leaders in pathology. Their vision and generosity are helping equip tomorrow’s pathologists to bring groundbreaking science to the bedside—and ultimately, to the patients who need it most.

We are deeply grateful to Roche/Ventana for making this transformative experience possible. Their partnership continues to inspire and accelerate progress across the field of pathology.
