Whether you are headed into surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, or any specialty in between — genomics will be part of your practice. The question is not if, but how soon, and how prepared you will be when it arrives.

The Undergraduate Training in Genomics Workshop is a hands-on, three-part experience designed specifically for medical students offered at the CAP26 Annual Meeting by the CAP Foundation.

What You Will Experience:

  • Practical exploration of genetic and genomic testing and its real-world application to patient care
  • Hands-on instruction using live online genomic pathology tools
  • Review of actual patient reports and slides
  • Direct engagement with pathology and laboratory medicine experts

Free Annual Meeting Registration:

When you register for the Undergraduate Training in Genomics Workshop, you will receive a discount code that waives your registration fee for the CAP Annual Meeting. This is the CAP Foundation’s way of opening the door — giving you full access to one of the most important gatherings in pathology and laboratory medicine, so you can explore, connect, and envision what your career might hold.

Space is limited to 50 medical students. We encourage you to register early.
