Clinical Impact and Practical Applications of ESR1 Mutation Testing in Patients With Advanced Breast Cancer

ESR1 mutations (ESR1m) are a key driver of acquired endocrine resistance in HR+/HER2- advanced and metastatic breast cancer. ESR1m monitoring can detect ESR1m emergence in HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. For pathologists, a key consideration for testing is accurate detection of ESR1m using ctDNA-mediated (plasma) NGS or PCR assays (liquid biopsy).
Pathologists attending this 60-minute webinar will gain practical insight into how ctDNA-mediated ESR1m testing can help detect emerging endocrine resistance earlier, inform timely clinical decision-making, and support more effective collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams.
