On May 12, 2026, the Women’s Board of the Field Museum will welcome Adji Bousso Dieng as its annual Women in Science Luncheon speaker. Adji Bousso Dieng is a Senegalese scientist and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University, where she leads Vertaix, a research group at the intersection of AI and the natural sciences. She is also the founder of the nonprofit The Africa I Know, which promotes STEM education in Africa. This event raises funds for science opportunities for women, including internships, fellowships, post-doc positions, staff support, and robust programs for the Field Museum community.
